Mickael Carreira

Mickael Carreira is a singer who, by investing since early ages in his musical education, plays nowadays the role of a rare case of the Portuguese cultural and artistic panorama. We are not used to see such a kind of professional and obstinate youngster, in the world of music.
By making his romantic ballads and Latin rhythms the image of his sonority, Mickael immediately conquered an audience that has been growing day by day, and since his first moments of his career he’s been selling out shows from north to south of the Country and hitting the sale charts worthy of a re-noun artist. All of this in his debut album.

OUR SCHOOL

Hello, this is our school. We hope you like it. The school occupies four buildings: one for administration and library, one with students facilities (canteen, buffet...), and two with classrooms.

Bar

In the bar we eat lots of things like cakes, chocolate and drinks.
For the teens that need it, the buffet gives them supplement like a glass of milk and bread.
The lady that takes care of the bar is really friendly and nice with us. Her name is Mrs. Alice she is a pretty lady =].
She prepares everything so well and most teens like eating croissant with cheese or ham or both, we have croissant of chocolate or simple. The bread that she prepares is so tasty we have natural drinks of mango, orange, apple, tropical, etc….
To compete with Mrs.Alice the director of the school has put a machine with sweets.
In the break time the buffet is really busy and full.

Stationer’s

The stationer’s is in the same building of the canteen and the bar. It is the most attended building by the students because everything that we need is there. It is very important for us because there we can charge the electronic card, buy the meals and school material.

Canteen

The canteen is a very fun place, where we can eat. It’s one of the places of the school where we can play, communicate with each other, it’s the place where we can laugh.
This canteen is a self-service.
The cook and kitchen helpers are very nice and make very good food. The canteen is the place where the students eat because their home is too far from the school.

The Library

The library is a place where we can study, read books, order books, make group projects…
In the library we have: newspapers, magazines, comic books, study books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, a television where we can watch movies, CD’S, 5 computers, 2 printers, 8 sofas, 9 tables and 1 recycling center.
The library assistant helps us find the books that we want.
In the library we have to be in silence because we can disturb the other students.

The staff room

The staff room has one bar, three computers where the teachers work, one bookcase with the register books, three tables for teachers to work, six placards with useful information for the teachers, many sofas, one television and one recycling center.
It has white walls and the sofas are red.

The students association

In the students association some students get together to organize championship the football, parties …
Usually the party is fantastic, a lot of music, people dancing.

The ATL

At the ATL (free time activities) we can do a few stuff like drawing, painting or preparing some parties but we also do our homework, study for the tests and we play computer.
You can see the ATL building near the main gate. It’s open from 8:45h till 17:30h. We’re organizing the Christmas Party, we are doing a funny dance, and when we do something wrong we can’t stop laughing!... The people in the ATL are very nice and friendly.
It’s very funny and I like the ATL.
What about you? Have you got an ATL at your school?

The computer room

In the computer room the students can surf the NET and play computer games. The teachers can take us there and we have a class there. We search about the subject and we learn a lot of things searching images and other things. The computer room has got air conditioned and it’s very useful. The computer room is awesome!

Science Laboratory

Our school has got two laboratories, for Science. The labs have got big desks for we can do experiments.
In the labs we have a board where we can write with a pen. However we have another one where we write with chalk.
The teacher wears a lab coat, but we don’t. We have security materials in cases of emergency. In the labs we have 45m classes. We work much with water and chemicals. It’s very interesting!!!

The vegetable garden

The vegetable garden is the place where the students cultivate different vegetables. It’s a science project.
There is one wall with a pretty graffiti and the students love it.
It’s the perfect place to be with your boyfriend/girlfriend and to us, our treasure.

The sports fields

Our sports field is AMAZING; you can practise a lot of sports, football, handball, basketball, long jump and athletics.
It is made of concrete and it has sand for the long jump.
On breaks we go to play basketball, but at the moment football is the hit.
This year we will join the school tournaments and we expect to win and smash our opponents. Our team is made of good players and if we practise a little bit more, we can become the best.
In the sports camp we do physical education.

My school balnearies

The balnearies are small. I don’t like them at all, because we’re tight and with little space for each one. They have four long banks, two on the right and two on the left. They are cleaned sometimes. We have two showers for girls and two for boys. It has one graffiti on the outside wall.
